DIRECTIONS

Getting to Kiki and Smoki Hostel is easy, by public transport or by foot. It is located at the very centre of Belgrade, 300m from the main pedestrian zone - Knez Mihailova Street, on the line of circle tram number 2. The hostel is at the beginning of Gospodar Jevremova Street (just Jevremova by locals), at number 7, 100m from Begrade’s central park - fortress Kalemegdan.

Public transport basics

It runs mostly from 5:30 to 23:30. Bus plus cards and their prepaid credits are sold at most kiosks and newsstands. Credit is renewable, minimum is for 6 rides and costs 432 dinars - approx. 0,6€ per ride. Single ride ticket, 140 dinars - approx. 1€ can be bought from the driver. There are NO daily / weekly tickets.

Taxi basics

It is best not to take taxis parked in front of the stations, it is better to stop one on the street. Taxi driver must always put the meter ‘ON’ and it must be in the position 1 on the meter display, from 06-22h, or position 2, from 22-06h and Sundays and public holidays – it should never be in position 3, except for suburbs and airport.

Walking basics

Belgrade is walking friendly – most of things and places of common interest are concentrated in an area of few square kilometers. Wider centre is placed on a plateau above rivers, which means that in some directions there are short and mild uphill and downhill stretches. There are no problematic parts of centre or Belgrade as a whole, day or night. It will take 15-30 minutes at the most to reach our hostel, whether from bus or railway station or from the airport bus terminal.

BUS AND TRAIN ARRIVALS

Public transport

TRAM 2 stops in front of both stations. Kalеmegdan direction goes to stop at the pedestrian Knez Mihailova str. It is 4 stops from the train station or 3 from the bus arrivals. From the stop, continuing in the same direction, alongside Kalemegdan Park, the corner of streets Tadeuša Košćuška and Gospodar Jevremova is just 2 blocks away. It is marked by a small gas pump hidden in greenery. Kiki and Smoki Hostel is at Jevremova number 7.

Walk

A 20 minute walk, following the tracks of tram number 2, which stops in front of both bus and train stations, will easily take you to Kiki and Smoki Hostel. Both stations are at Karađorđeva str, which leads to the Branko bridge and continues alongside Sava river to Kalemegdan park. On the right is Pariska str, leading alongside Kalemegdan park to the pedestrian Knez Mihailova str. Further one block the same street has a different name – Pariska str. becomes Tadeuša Košćuška str. 2 blocks further is the corner of streets Tadeuša Košćuška and Gospodar Jevremova, marked by a small gas pump hidden in greenery. Kiki and Smoki Hostel is at number Jevremova 7.

Taxi to our hostel from bus or railway station should not cost more then 350-500 dinars – approx. 3-4€, day or night.

AIRPLANE ARRIVALS 

Pick up

We offer a pick up from the airport for 12€ - per car, 4 persons maximum, but please mind that you have to contact us at least one day in advance.

Public transport

When arriving from the airport, PUBLIC BUS 72 will end at Zeleni venac green market. On the bottom of the same street, under the Branko bridge, there is a TRAM 2 stop. 2 stops in the direction of Kalemegdan Park is our stop, at Knez Mihailova str. From the stop, continuing in the same direction, alongside Kalemegdan Park, the corner of streets Tadeuša Košćuška and Gospodar Jevremova is just 2 blocks away. 15 minute walk from PUBLIC BUS 72 terminal stop through the busy part of Belgrade’s centre starts from Zeleni venac green market. Across from the bus stop, on the left side of the street, the stairs lead to Brankova str. Across the street is Carice Milice str. which leads to a small park. On the other side of the park is Vuka Karadžića str, which on the right leads to the pedestrian Knez Mihailova str. On the left end of Knez Mihailova str, at the entrance to the Kalemegdan Park, to the right is Pariska str. Further one block the same street has a different name – Pariska str. becomes Tadeuša Košćuška str. The corner of streets Tadeuša Košćuška and Gospodar Jevremova is 2 blocks down, marked by a small gas pump hidden in greenery. Kiki and Smoki Hostel is at number Jevremova 7.

It is advised to ask in the airport building for a taxi voucher , which costs 1500 dinars - approx. 14€ per car (not per person).
